What skills do you need to have:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
  • Knowledge and Administration of Oracle 11G and 12C databases;
  • Oracle 19C database installation;
  • Installation and configuration of Oracle RAC. 11G \ 12C and 19C;
  • Installation and configuration of Oracle Data Guard;
  • Installation and configuration of GoldenGate;
  • Diagnose and resolve performance problems and database failures;
  • Configuring and implementing backup and recovery using RMAN;
  • Knowledge of Linux and Unix;
  • Knowledge of VMWare – Usage.

 

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for supporting new and existing Oracle database systems and will help guide best practices in database administration and introduce innovation with automation;
  • Upgrades of Oracle database migrations and updates and application of database patches;
  • Backup and restores, export and import of data to and from Oracle run time configuration of Oracle;
  • Monitoring at server, database, collection level, and using various monitoring tools related to Oracle;
  • Maintains standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security;
  • Troubleshoots alerts (alert log, jobs, disk group, etc.) and performance issues.
