Job Description


In this pivotal, full-time permanent role, leverage your broad hands-on experience and computer knowledge for administration, maintenance & troubleshooting of Windows systems and related technology.  You will work closely with customers to ensure system reliability, execute change requests, log incidents, troubleshoot performance and reliability of customer systems.  Collaborating with a team of like-minded and success-driven experts, you ensure successful delivery of The Ultimate Service Experience to internal and external customers while expanding your own skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to Internal and External customers in accordance with approved documentation
  • Master all aspects of the internal Ticketing, Monitoring, Documentation, and related tools as well as the Jolera product and service offerings
  • Work collaboratively with team members, other departments, internal and external customers
  • Application of maximum effort towards efficient escalated incident resolution and submission of problem tickets to the Problem Management Team
  • Contribute to the collective success of the team by sharing feedback to continuously improve on Service Delivery excellence
  • Submit documentation update change requests to the designated team members

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education in a Computer Technology related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience along with professional certifications from Microsoft and Barracuda Networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills relating to IT infrastructure with a focus on troubleshooting:
    • Advanced Windows Desktop & Server OS
    • Microsoft Application Stack
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Microsoft Cloud Based Solutions
    • Advanced Networking (Firewalls, Routing, Internet Connectivity, Security principles)
  • A solid understanding of advanced PC and server hardware, network connected peripherals, and advanced networking
  • Experience with cloud storage and other cloud based services
  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities and think outside-the-box
  • Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers
  • An energetic teammate that works to create a positive work environment
  • Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to complete Criminal Records and Background Check

Preferred but not Required:

Other Requirements:

  • Work in a team environment one of Jolera’s offices
  • Spoken Languages are any combination of Fluent English along with fluency in at least one of French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese
