Switch Payments

Switch is building the technology infrastructure for connecting the increasingly fragmented payments industry. With Switch, we've created an abstraction layer on top of the existing payments infrastructure, so businesses can get access to multiple financial institutions through one simple API integration.

We're looking for a highly motivated and passionate sales talent to accelerate our growth in the European market. The choosen candidate will be based in Lisbon or Porto. Reporting directly to the CEO , you’ll be responsible for designing the company’s sales strategy and work on a complex enterprise software environment, namely:

  • Uncovering and defining the best growth opportunities for Switch, including new customers, new verticals and new sales strategies;
  • Consulting and advising merchants regarding the best implementation practices and address specific merchants issues;
  • Creating and fostering a network of international corporations;
  • Developing new strategic partnerships to help us win more enterprise customers and accelerate our revenue;
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure sales processes are aligned with existing and future company product/infrastructure.

Main requirements: 

  • 3+ years of consulting, sales operations, or business development experience in a tech growth environment: ability to effectively collaborate with all parts of the organization;
  • Ability to understand the Switch API and build great relationships with highly technical customers;
  • Curiosity, and eagerness to build expertise: will to figure out what’s going on, absorb and retain information down to the smallest details;
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment;
  • Excellent communication and written skills: ability to effectively lead a meeting and articulate clearly.

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in the payments industry;
  • Strong understanding of the European tech industry; 
  • Proficiency in other languages.
