Perfil ideal
- Working knowledge of VMWare virtualization technologies
- Advanced capabilities on VMware ESX, vCenter and NSX
- Experience with vRealize stack is required
- Working experience of vRealize Automation in a production environment valued
- Generic OS configuration and management on virtualized environments
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot network issues (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
- Must be a team player
Responsabilidades
- Design, install and configure VMware platforms and vRealize stack
- Proactively manage and maintain hosts, virtual network and virtual storage
- Administer and support VMware technologies and stack
- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
- Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
- Define and document best practices and support procedures
- Assist with related hardware, firewall, network and software evaluation and recommendation
- Interact with other technical teams, as required
