We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist (m/f) – to integrate to integrate the Analytics team of our client – a reference Portuguese company in the banking sector.
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
- Design, construct, test and maintain highly scalable and optimized applications for performance data management systems;
- Ensure data architecture standards across all databases;
- Work closely with data scientists to provide them with adequate solutions.
What is required from you?
- More than 6 years of experience in data science or similar areas;
- MSc or PhD in IT, Computer Science or related quantitative field;
- Understanding of high-performance algorithms and R statistical SW;
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning;
- Expert command of statistical analysis, algorithm development, and state-of-the-art tools and methodologies for data science;
- Expert knowledge of data modelling and different data structures;
- Experience using big data batch and streaming tools;
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills;
- Good English knowledge (both written and spoken).
