You will be based in our office in Évora but We are open to negotiate remote work!


Job Description

As Quality Assurance Specialist you will be an integral part of ensuring the quality of our SaaS! You will provide expertise in areas of manual testing to improve practices, tools, and processes with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational and communication skills. We value collaborative discussions and creative ideas on how to further enhance our testing strategies and processes


This is what a Quality Assurance Engineer will do at Optiply Évora’s office:

  • Design, write and execute functional, regression and performance tests for our software product

  • Coordinating with the different teams to ensure the requisites, prioritization and solve any blockers with the environments and/or tests

  • Document, communicate and facilitate correction of defects discovered during testing and communicate with team to solve them

  • Coordinate test strategy (environment specs, test scenarios, test profiles)

  • Review the tooling currently being used for Quality Assurance

  • Support product teams in ensuring high product quality through exploratory and functional testing techniques


This is who we’re looking for:

  • BS degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science or Computer/Electrical engineering)
  • Comfortable with JAVA / React (or similar
  • Experience with Microservices (preferable) 
  • Tech-savvy and detail-oriented
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (example: JIRA)
  • Familiarity to load testing tools and practices
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • You write and talk flawless English
