What skills do you need to have?

• Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• +4 year experience in COBOL programming;
• Familiarity with COBOL development tools;
• Knowledge of relational databases, especially DB2;
• Understanding of transactional systems principles, including CICS;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt to legacy technological environments, and grow professionally;

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Participate in the development and maintenance of complex COBOL applications;
• Collaborate with fellow team members to design, code, test, and implement effective solutions;
• Perform analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues, focusing on bug identification and resolution;
• Assist in technical documentation, including code and system specifications;
• Work with related technologies such as DB2 and CICS;
