As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for a specific and challenging production sector and help shape the future of smart manufacturing by guiding the development of global applications that support efficiency, scalability, and resilience. You’ll work within a multicultural, interdisciplinary environment where collaboration, ownership, and agility are key.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and technical tasks.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog using tools like Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate daily with developers, architects, and QA to ensure successful delivery.
- Review and validate technical solutions to meet performance and scalability needs.
- Lead with a full-lifecycle mindset, overseeing development, integration, and operational stability of software products deployed in complex factory environments.
- Support testing and define acceptance criteria for new features.
- Oversee deployment and ensure smooth operation in hybrid cloud environments.
- Help to monitor application performance and coordinate fixes or improvements.
- Facilitate communication across business stakeholders, development team, and IT operations teams.
Requirements:
- Academic background in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related fields, with a strong orientation toward technology and systems thinking.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Owner or Technical Project Manager role, ideally in agile enterprise or industrial software projects.
- Technical fluency, with practical experience in Java, containerization (e.g., Docker), microservices architecture, and hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Agile expertise, including familiarity with frameworks like SCRUM and tooling such as Azure DevOps to manage backlog and team workflows.
- Analytical and process modeling skills, with experience in creating clear, structured user stories and IT specifications that enable efficient development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of aligning cross-functional stakeholders and leading through influence in a distributed team environment.
- Experience with complex IT ecosystems, including hybrid cloud microservices, legacy integration, and modular enterprise system landscapes.
- Personal traits: high ownership, fast learner, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-evolving context.
- Language: Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential; additional languages are a plus in our multicultural environment.
