Skills and qualifications

The Junior Project Manager should be able to demonstrate the ability to support the planning, organization, and daily coordination of software projects, helping to ensure that priorities, timelines, deliverables, and information are clearly defined, well structured, and consistently followed up. This includes assisting with task and time tracking, documentation, progress control, and team alignment, while supporting clear and consistent communication between the development team and the client.

This professional should be able to effectively:

• coordinate tasks, deadlines, priorities and milestones;
• prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and status updates;
• organize meetings and ensure relevant information is shared;
• monitor project progress, and track time and team allocation;
• support team and client alignment through structured communication;
• provide day-to-day assistance in the organization and control of ongoing projects.

and should have skills or proficiency in:

• office tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software;
• written and verbal communication in both Portuguese and English;

and is highly valued any skills in:

• task or project tracking tools such as JIRA Software, Trello, Asana, or similar;
• project collaboration tools such as Slack, Confluence, or similar;
• basic understanding of software project workflows and how development teams operate.

Having a computing, mathematics or management degree from a leading university, or equivalent experience, is considered a plus.

• Fluent in English (at business level).

Work Experience

Minimum 1+ years of proven track record in a similar position or relevant experience in a structured work environment.
