As part of an AI and IoT focused hackfest taking place in Microsoft that week, we got together with two of the most impactful tech communities in the country, Data Science Portugal and PyData, to host an event sure to keep Data Science enthusiasts on the edge of their seats!Headlining the event will be Microsoft's Senior Tech Evangelist Nick Trogh, showcasing a very practical example of a real-case scenario where ML is applied. More specifically, the session will be focused on a project that was carried out in one of the largest e-commerce sites in France, using the open-source Natural Language Processing library Spacy. Opening the event will be Susana Paço, with the talk: "Complex != Complicated: Talking about Data Science to the General Public".
