To sustain its fast paced growth, SAFIRA/KPMG maintains a clear focus on new trendy technology and need to enlarge its team. In that context, we are currently seeking a Java Team Leader:

 

Job Description:

  • Lead a subset of the overall team;
  • Use and coach team members on Development recomended practices, standards and patterns;
  • Develop high quality and performant Java and SQL Code;
  • Provide accurate report on work done and challenges to project manager.

 

Qualifications

  • University Degree (Software Engineering or Computer Science preferably);
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Java/JEE and Sql Server Programming;
  • SQL Server knowledge;
  • Ability to work on a medium to large team (4+ team members) leading a sub-team;
  • Mixed profile with strong technical abilities and functional skills, ensuring stakeholder management during process analysis;
  • High level of communication skills to present, inform and persuade internal and external customers;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory;
  • Availability to travel;
  • Soft-skills will be highly valued.

     

Preferential

  • Being comfortable in the domains of process modeling, process monitoring, business rules and business event based technologies will be valued;
  • Working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, DB2) and ability to design DB schemas and interface with it using ODBC/JDBC.
