The change in the automotive industry brings a lot of new challenges. Our Losch DIGITAL LAB (Losch Services - Portugal) in Porto is a creative team facing all digital challenges together with the Luxembourgish colleagues to support the automotive industry. We are active in the fields of software development, data analysis and the acceleration of new technology.

We are looking for an experienced:

BI Scientist (m/f)

What you will be doing

  • Work closely together with IT headquarter in Luxembourg & other international partners to develop new products and improve existing ones
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Produce and track key performance indicators
  • Develop and support reporting processes
  • Monitor and audit data quality
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations

Main requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in IT, software engineering, software development, business management or similar
  • Knowledge in data manipulation
  • Knowledge in data visualization
  • Experience in data modelling
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Analytic thinking
  • SQL knowledge
  • Experience in Power BI or other reporting tools (like Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Proactive and self-taught
  • A real team player
  • A high level of flexibility and customer focus
  • The ability to master any technology, language, or development environment that we might need in the future
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in Python, R
  • Experience in creating ETL pipelines
  • Microsoft SQL Server
