This could be the perfect challenge if you have:

• A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and Agile methodologies;
• Experiences in programming and scripting using Golang or other JVM based language;
• Experience using unix/linux operating systems and tools to carry out investigations;
• Strong experience with container and its orchestration technologies, preferably docker and Kubernetes;
• An understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and/or GCP;
• Familiar with software Engineering and SRE best practices, Testing strategies, and CI/CD, eg Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline as Code, Automated testing for different test phases;
• An understanding of common security risks and best security practices at each layer of software and platform lifecycle.

Main responsibilities:

• Work in a “blue” security engineering team to study, analyse, challenge and improve the department's processes and technology which protects the Kubernetes multi-tenanted Platform as a Service (PaaS) by detecting and defending real-world threats;
• Work closely with internal and external, security and engineering teams to achieve security requirements and goals, especially close collaboration with a ‘red’ security team in the department who have an aim to attack security vulnerabilities for the department’s Kubernetes PaaS;
• Participate in the construction of a “security culture” within the department by supporting various teams in the implementation of best security practices and improving security KPIs;
• Delivery of well tested (in-house built) security products and security controls via automated CI/CD pipeline in Kubernetes to identify threats and improve the Kubernetes platform’s security posture:
• Involved in the full lifecycle of evolving ideas into running solutions as well as their maintenance and support.
