Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Project Manager for one of our banking clients. A Software House focused on the development of financial markets and investment platforms, with several international projects, in Lisbon.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for promoting and encourage good culture and behaviours personally and across the Team, in line with I AM Risk. Identify, assess, manage and report risks and Ensure all risks and issues have an agreed owner and target resolution dates.

Progress specific actions that could minimise or mitigate risks identified and ensure 100% completion of mandatory training and any other role specific training required. Manage and direct the project team and any matrix / extended delivery team, providing clear objectives and tasks in support of delivery of the agreed Business Case.  

What you are like:

• Previous experience in Project Management role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, including Business Cases, project planning, stakeholder mapping and comms plans and risk and issue management;
• Proven track record of delivery of workstreams of Data programmes (specifically Data Management, Data Privacy & ILM and Data Cloud Migration);
• Detailed knowledge of a Data & Analytics function within a financial services company.;
• Proven experience of delivery of projects of key pillars of a Data Strategy;
• Conceptual thinking and working from first principles ability, rather than using a standard prescribed formula;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
