Join the Wolfpack as a Senior Linux Administrator (Hybrid - Lisboa)!

What skills do you need to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator with a strong focus on RHEL, CentOS, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and system administration tools.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
• Knowledge of storage solutions, including SAN and NAS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) and version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of ITIL principles and experience working in ITIL-based environments.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Manage and maintain Linux servers, primarily RHEL and CentOS, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize LVM (Logical Volume Manager) for efficient storage management.
• Implement and maintain virtualization technologies such as VMware and OpenStack.
• Work with containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
• Monitor network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
• Administer storage solutions, including SAN and NAS.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl to improve processes and efficiency.
• Implement configuration management using tools like Ansible and manage version control with Git.
• Work within an ITIL-based environment, adhering to ITIL principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior administrators.
