We are currently seeking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing team in Porto, Portugal.

As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Deploy, manage, and support internal infrastructure.
- Engage on systems and solutions design.
- Contribute to safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- Help to protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Recognize problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.
- Implement security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
- Upgrade system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
What we are looking for:
- Degrees in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering are preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge on LAN/WAN networking technologies (routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc).
- Knowledge on Security technologies (Firewall, anti-virus/malware, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IdP, certificates, etc).
- Knowledge on Operating Systems (Microsoft, Linux, etc) and hardware.
- Knowledge in IT and/or cyber-security management/support.
- Good level of English (written/spoken).
- High level of commitment, proactivity, adaptability and versatility.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team worker and knowledge sharing spirit.
- Establish and maintain a positive and productive relationship with all co-workers and 3rd parties (different stakeholders’ level and multi-cultural environment).
What would be a plus:
- Datacenter ecosystem management and support experience.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory Services.
- Spanish proficiency.
- Knowledge on logging and monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Greylog, Prometheus, etc.).
- Knowledge on automation/scripting.
- Knowledge on backup and restore.
