What you will be doing:
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will focus on designing IT solutions to address business challenges and requirements by collaborating closely with Delivery and Product Managers on impacting business and integration solutions. Dive into complex environments, serving numerous use cases, with a cloud-first mindset. You'll also navigate the scope of on-premises software applications and systems, ensuring a holistic approach to architecting cutting-edge solutions. You will also:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive solutions
- Create architectural designs and technical specifications for software applications, systems, or platforms
- Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with project requirements and organizational goals
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the organization's technical and business requirements
- Identify potential risks and issues related to solution architecture, and propose mitigation strategies
- Ensure that solutions meet quality standards, performance benchmarks, and security requirements
- Create and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides.
What we are looking for:
- Solid experience as a Solution Architect
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-based solutions (with a preference for Azure)
- Expertise in architecting and managing cloud infrastructures at an enterprise scale
- Strong understanding of software development principles, programming languages and technologies (e.g., C#)
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and methodologies (e.g., SOA, MVC, REST, microservices architecture)
- Understanding of version control and experience with automated workflows in CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Degree in Computer Science or similar.
What will be a plus:
- Previous experience in solution architecture with cloud-based systems
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
