Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise and best practices in developing scalable applications and scripts integrating Databricks and Azure SQL.
• Optimize performance for data processing and storage solutions at scale.
• Design, build, and maintain microservices with Spring Boot that interface with Azure SQL.
• Deploy and manage solutions on AKS/EKS, applying cloud-native architecture principles.
• Set up and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor cloud-based solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science;
• Demonstrated experience building and optimizing scalable solutions using Databricks and Azure SQL, with a strong focus on performance tuning for high-volume data environments
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Azure DevOps CI/CD, AKS/EKS
• Excellent communication skills, with resilience and a goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong drive for technology and challenges.
• Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and data platforms.
• Previous experience in client-facing advisory roles.
• Contribution to knowledge sharing (documentation, brown bags, workshops).

Important informations:

• Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the office in Aveiro or Almada.
