Profile description:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience;
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting mission-critical environments on AWS technologies;
- Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redshift;
- Strong skills in installation and configuration, performance tuning, query optimization, and workload management;
- Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch is considered a plus;
- Previous experience in end-to-end support of the database layer across multiple services and technologies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Availability for on-call support;
- Fluent English – mandatory.
Mandatory requirement: Living in Portugal or holding legal authorization to reside in Portugal.
