What we are looking for

• +5 years of experience as a software developer;
• Experience with backend development, ideally using Ruby on Rails; Python knowledge is a plus;
• Familiarity with frontend development using React, Next.js, and TypeScript;
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture;
• Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases;
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based infrastructure;
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Rspec, Cucumber, Jest, Cypress, etc.);
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions or Buildkite;
• Comfortable working in agile environments with lean processes;
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset;
• Fluency in English (minimum B2).

What is this challenge about

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Ruby on Rails and occasionally Python;
• Build and enhance frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript;
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs, as well as occasional MVC components and AWS Lambdas;
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL;
• Implement background processing using Sidekiq;
• Write automated tests using tools such as Rspec, Cucumber, Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress;
• Collaborate with the team to design scalable, high-quality solutions;
• Deploy and monitor applications using AWS and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Buildkite);
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement in a hybrid Scrum/Kanban workflow.
