What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
• 3-6 years of experience in Mainframe operations and Level 2 application support in Z/OS environments, including batch scheduling, supervision, incident handling, and production monitoring;
• Strong knowledge of Z/OS and Mainframe technologies, including batch execution, file systems, and resource management;
• Experience with job scheduling and workload automation tools such as TWS and Control-M, including planning, monitoring, and manual intervention;
• Experience with middleware, databases, and data access, including CICS, DB2 (basic SQL), IMS, VSAM, and file transfer tools such as CFT / Connect;
• Proficiency in scripting and job control, including JCL, Shell, XML, and script generation from functional specifications;
• Experience in writing and maintaining operational procedures, reports, and technical documentation;
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including command line usage, file system navigation, and permissions management;
• Experience with ITSM, monitoring, and observability tools such as ServiceNow and Dynatrace;
• Knowledge of ITIL v4 processes and Agile methodologies;
• English level B1 (minimum) and French level B1/B2;
• Residency in Portugal (candidates based outside Portugal won’t be considered).
