About the job

The Data Engineer (Python) will develop and optimise data pipelines and architectures for telecom systems, supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Our ideal candidate has strong Python skills, experience with big data technologies, and is passionate about building scalable, high-performance data solutions.

We will rely on you to

• Develop and optimise ETL pipelines for large datasets;

• Design and implement scalable data architectures using Hadoop, Spark, and other big data technologies;

• Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions;

• Create and maintain data models for analytics and BI;

• Implement data quality checks and ensure integrity across systems;

• Optimise data storage and retrieval for performance;

• Maintain documentation for data processes and architectures;

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in data engineering and telecom.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar;

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering (telecom a plus);

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java;

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark);

• Expertise in ETL processes and data modelling;

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);

• Relevant data engineering certifications are a plus.
