About the Role:

We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer (up to 2 years of experience) to join our small, friendly startup team. You’ll work alongside a collaborative group of four designers, learning from experienced teammates while contributing to real product work from day one.

This role is a great fit for someone early in their design career who’s curious, motivated, and excited to grow. You’ll support the team across research, workshops, and everyday design tasks, gain hands-on experience working with a design system, and help turn ideas into polished, developer-ready designs using Figma.

Responsibilities:

- Support the team in user research and discovery activities, including search and workshops.
- Help with day-to-day UX/UI design tasks across product features and improvements.
- Create and update designs in Figma, using Auto Layouts and components.
- Work within an existing design system, helping keep designs consistent and well-organized.
- Participate in design reviews, learning how to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Assist with design handoff to developers, keeping files tidy, clear, and easy to implement.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teammates in a supportive environment.

Requirements:

- Up to 2 years of experience as a UX/UI, Product, or Digital Designer.
- Comfortable working in Figma, especially with Auto Layouts and components.
- Basic understanding of UX principles and visual design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with design systems or experience working within one.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow as a designer.
- Good communication skills and comfort working in a remote team.

Nice to Have:

- Experience working in a design agency or on multiple projects.
- Exposure to user research, workshops, or discovery sessions.
- Some experience supporting developer handoff.
- Awareness of responsive or accessible design principles.

Contract Details:

- Full-time contractor role with an initial 6-month contract.
- High potential to transition into a long-term or permanent position.
- 100% remote, ideally within European time zones.
