What is this challenge about:

• Administer, support, and optimize enterprise storage systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and implement scalable, secure storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, software-defined storage (SDS), and cloud-based architectures, for large corporate environments.
• Manage high-performance storage platforms such as Dell EMC PowerMax, Unity, and ECS.
• Configure and maintain data replication, backup, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Plan and coordinate data migrations and storage infrastructure upgrades.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, network, virtualization, and security teams to ensure data integrity and service continuity.
• Document technical procedures, architectures, and operational processes.
• Produce regular reports on storage capacity, utilization, and performance.
• Participate in troubleshooting complex storage incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• +5 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting enterprise SAN/NAS storage environments.
• Strong experience designing and managing enterprise storage solutions in large-scale environments.
• Advanced knowledge of storage protocols, including iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB, and CIFS.
• Experience with zoning, LUN masking, and multipathing.
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC tools such as Secure Connect Gateway (SCG), CloudIQ, SRM Suite, and BNA CMCNE.
• Solid understanding of replication technologies, snapshots, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience integrating storage with virtualized environments (VMware and other hypervisors).
• Ability to coordinate firmware updates and upgrades of storage arrays, switches, and related infrastructure components.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving storage performance issues.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.
• Experience with automation and scripting is a plus.
• Proven ability to document technical procedures and architectures clearly.
• Living in Lisbon (hybrid role)
• Fluent level of English and Portuguese.
