Senior IT Release Manager

What is this challenge about
• Oversee Jira ticket planning and ensure strict adherence to established release protocols across all cycles.
• Manage Git branch merges and package compilation to ensure zero-conflict deployments.
• Schedule, coordinate, and lead three critical release alignment meetings per week with key stakeholders.
• Compile final delivery manifests and document the precise operational steps required for production deployment.
• Authoritatively manage urgent delivery scenarios, including making the unilateral decision to postpone or abort releases when stability is compromised.
• Serve as the primary liaison and technical point of contact for external teams regarding release status and specifications.

What we are looking for
• Comprehensive, expert-level understanding of Git architecture, branching strategies, and repository management.
• Proven ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex merge conflicts under tight deadlines.
• Meticulous approach to execution and high rigor, recognizing the high-risk nature of production deployments.
• Strong organizational mastery with the ability to manage multiple complex workflows simultaneously while maintaining full visibility of the overall release landscape.
• Decisiveness under pressure, backed by a track record of making swift, analytical decisions in high-stakes operational situations.
• Excellent communication capabilities to lead meetings efficiently and convey complex technical release details clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive, solution-oriented Agile problem-solving mindset geared toward the rapid resolution of operational bottlenecks.
