QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join KWAN and be part of a long-term project in the Trade Finance domain!

The Challenge:

• Support the validation of features delivered in each sprint, working closely with Senior QA Engineers and Business Analysts.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright.
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the non-regression test automation framework.
• Create and execute automated E2E tests to ensure software quality.
• Support REST API testing and validation.
• Perform basic database/SQL testing.
• Report and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment and follow the software development lifecycle.
• Gradually take ownership of automation tasks and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
• Develop your understanding of the Trade Finance domain with the support of experienced team members.

What you bring to the table:

• +3 years of experience in QA, software testing, automation, or a related IT role.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of REST API testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/defect tracking tools.
• Good English communication skills.
