About the client and the project:
Global professional services company with a technology delivery hub in Portugal. The team builds and maintains full stack web applications combining .NET back-end services with modern front-end frameworks and content-driven platforms. The project focuses on scalable, microservices-based solutions for a global client base.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and deploy full stack applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and modern UI frameworks.
- Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable system architectures and microservices-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Work with DXP/CMS platforms to deliver content-driven solutions.
- Build and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Use DevOps tools such as GitHub workflows and actions to streamline development and deployment.
Must-have skills:
- .NET (Framework/.NET Core) — 3+ years
- React.js
- Next.js
- DXP/CMS platforms (e.g. Optimizely, Umbraco or equivalent)
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- REST APIs
- Technical leadership experience, guiding teams and making architectural decisions
- GitHub workflows and actions
- Experience designing scalable system architectures and microservices
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
- English B2
Nice to have:
- Azure or other cloud platforms
- ASP.NET Core / Web API
Location and work model:
- Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
