Senior Java Fullstack Developer – REST & Microservices

As a Senior Java Fullstack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to delivering innovative customer relationship management tools. Contributing to a high-performing IT environment, you will help enhance the digital experience for branch advisors and customers alike, driving operational excellence and technological advancement in the banking sector.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop robust, scalable microservices using Java and the JEE ecosystem to support CRM functionalities.
• Implement and optimize web interfaces utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS to enhance user experience.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through practices like TDD, automated testing, and pair programming.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect protocols to secure and streamline integrations.
• Collaborate within a DevOps environment, supporting CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment processes.
• Contribute to architectural and software design discussions, fostering innovative solutions.
• Share best practices and knowledge within the Fullstack Engineering community of practice.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of proven experience in Java development and full-stack web technologies.
• Strong proficiency with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and standard web security protocols.
• Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Good practical knowledge of HTTP, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
• A passion for craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with architecture and software design.
• Certifications or experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Additional language skills, especially French.

Language required for the role: English (Communicative), French (working proficiency).
