Senior Java & Angular Full-Stack Developer

Porto-based opportunity with a hybrid work model, including up to 2 remote days per week.

As a Senior Java & Angular Full-Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading banking group. You will join a compliance-focused engineering team developing a tool in response to a regulatory request from a supervisory body. Working closely with teams in Porto and Paris, you will contribute to a high-impact project supporting regulatory compliance and business objectives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain, design, and implement Java-based applications.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into effective application designs and functionalities.
• Define application objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Develop, test, debug, and optimize software to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical problems throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce detailed technical and design documentation.
• Deliver part or all of the application code in line with project plans and functional specifications.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 8 years of experience in Java and Angular full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Angular frontend development.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL.
• Experience with OpenShift environments.
• Knowledge of Git or Bitbucket.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins.
• Familiarity with deployment automation tools such as XL Deploy and XL Release.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in compliance-focused or regulatory technology projects.
• Previous experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
• Experience producing detailed software design documentation.

Language Required for the role: Fluent English.
