YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, maintain, and administer database systems;
- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency;
- Implement and manage high-availability, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions;
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and ensure system stability;
- Manage Linux-based environments and support infrastructure operations;
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system performance and operational processes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (mandatory);
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience in database administration or a similar role;
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB;
- Knowledge of database high-availability, replication, backup, and recovery solutions;
- Experience in database performance monitoring, analysis, and optimization;
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems;
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and computer networking;
- Knowledge of cloud services;
- Good command of English;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
