For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps domain;
• Strong grasp on networking concepts - TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPs, VPNs, firewall, routing, load balancing and traffic management;
• Hands-on experience configuring cloud networking services (AWS VPC, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Azure VNets, GCP VPC, etc.);
• Experience with container orchestration and networking - Kubernetes (CNI, ingress, service mesh) and Docker Swarm (overlay networks, services, ingress routing);
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Ansible or similar;
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent);
• Experience with CI/CD tool like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Action or related;
• Solid understanding of security best practices in network, design and implementation;
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems and networks;
• Holder of certifications in networking or cloud (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Cisco CCNP/CCIE ) is a nice to have;
• Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud connectivity is a nice to have;
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (I stio, Linkerd, Consul) and microservices communication patterns is a nice to have;
• Exposure to compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR) and secure network design is a nice to have;
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading projects with a networking focus is a nice to have;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (at least B2 Level);
• Availability to work in a hybrid regime, in Coimbra.
