Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of front-end and back-end applications for production operations management and reporting.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle for historian systems (documentation, version control, testing, CI/CD, releases).
- Build scalable, reusable, and secure data and application interfaces, aligned with cybersecurity guidelines.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Provide technical support and ensure smooth operation of applications for business users.
- Develop process automation and ensure 24/7 availability, responsiveness, and reliability of systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environments developing software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, T-SQL, and Python; experience with enterprise software development, architecture, design patterns, and scalability.
- Experience with SQL Server, GE Proficy Historian, InfluxDB, RabbitMQ, Grafana.
- Knowledge of SCADA and control systems (iFIX, Siemens PCS7, DeltaV, etc.), Azure infrastructure, OT/IT environments, networking, and security.
- Previous experience in cross-functional, global teams across different time zones.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a results-driven mindset.
- Prior experience with GE Proficy Historian is a strong plus.
