For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend development
• Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and collaborating with multiple teams to align on architectural and design decisions
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD / Shift-Left approach)
• Proficiency with Git and working in CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and other backend frameworks commonly used in Java-based systems
• Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Familiarity with GraphQL Federation
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud services and deployments
• Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for observability and distributed tracing
• Fluency in English, at least a B2
