Responsibilities:
- Development of hardware controllers, ethernet switches and soft processors in FPGA, for embedded devices;
- Participate in the complete development cycle, including design, implementation and testing;
- Be part of an R&D team working in a collaborative, informal and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science (or similar);
- Years of experience in a similar job;
- Experience with VHDL (Verilog will be a plus);
- Experience with Xilinx or Altera tools and platforms (Quartus, Vivado);
- Experience with HW/SW integration;
- Experience implementing high bandwidth/low latency memory interfaces;
- Hardware/System architectural design;
- Teamwork oriented;
- Self-organized and results oriented;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Passion for learning.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge with Network and Ethernet implementation/integration in FPGA, including Ethernet switching;
- Knowledge in implementing/integrating standard communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, LVDS, PCIe, etc.);
- Knowledge in C to Hardware conversion;
- Experience integrating IP from third parties (OpenCores, proprietary/licensed, etc.);
- C/C++ programming knowledge;
- Agile development process;
- Version Control Systems (SVN, GIT).
Important informations:
- Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the office in Lisbon.
