ABOUT THE JOB OPENING
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SCRUM MASTER TO JOIN OUR TEAM
YOU WILL
- Independently facilitate Scrum ceremonies and help the team deliver on sprint goals.
- Maintain and improve Scrum artifacts and team metrics.
- Deliver work that meets scope, deadlines, and quality standards with minimal supervision.
- Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and process concerns to the team.
- Ask for help when needed and proactively assist peers when capable.
- Promote team standards for agile processes, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in process reviews, receiving and incorporating feedback.
- Continuously improve facilitation skills through learning and feedback.
- Explore solutions when facing unfamiliar team or process problems.
- Take ownership of personal development and actively engage in team learning opportunities.
- Show initiative by picking up new tools, frameworks, or responsibilities over time.
- Take responsibility for assigned facilitation tasks and deliver them with accountability.
- Escalate problems appropriately and contribute to resolving team impediments.
- Support ongoing improvements to agile processes, tooling, or documentation.
- Participate in organizational agile transformation and scaling initiatives.
- Contribute to improving the overall agile framework through refactoring or modernization.
- Propose and document process improvements with trade-offs in performance, cost, and maintainability.
YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe certification is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
