Medior Business Analyst – Financial Services & Calypso Expertise

Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days remote per week).

As a Medior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in financial services within the Global Markets and Risk department. You will be instrumental in enhancing and supporting Calypso/Adenza financial software, focusing on the Collateral Management module to improve operational efficiency and risk management. This role offers a unique chance to accelerate your career while contributing to transformative financial solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements with users and project managers to optimize software functionalities.
• Identify and recommend improvements in existing processes to enhance performance.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and deliver end-user training sessions.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation, including functional specifications and user guides.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support user production requests and assist developers in implementing new features.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with Calypso/Adenza software is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in business analysis or financial software.
• Knowledge of Collateral Management processes beyond Calypso/Adenza.
