Data Engineer

This could be the perfect challenge if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering;
• Experience with public cloud environments, preferably AWS;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform;
• Programming experience in at least one of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript or Scala;
• Strong SQL knowledge;
• Experience with data modelling and data-driven architectures;
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive or Cassandra;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines;
• Develop and optimize data models for analytical use cases;
• Ensure data quality through testing and validation processes;
• Troubleshoot and improve the performance of data processing solutions;
• Work with large-scale and real-time data processing solutions.

Work model: Hybrid, 3 days per week at the office in Porto.
