Responsibilities

• Drive automation initiatives related to application support, solution deployment, system health checks, monitoring, and alert management, ensuring service continuity and operational efficiency.

• Support automation, orchestration, and integration initiatives using the ServiceNow platform, ensuring solutions are aligned with organizational and business requirements.

• Develop and implement ServiceNow enhancements in coordination with offshore managed services teams, including request creation, form updates, portal customization, and workflow improvements.

• Work closely with application users and operations teams to understand requirements and use cases, translating business needs into efficient self-service solutions.

• Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow capabilities, including Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Virtual Agent, to improve automation and user experience.

• Support ServiceNow upgrade activities, ensuring new releases are implemented effectively and with minimal service disruption.

• Coordinate the release of enhancements, ensuring developments are delivered, tested, and deployed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

• Design and develop customized support tools and automation solutions to improve production processes and operational efficiency.

• Define and produce metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor system performance, automation effectiveness, and service quality.

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and evolution of automation scripts and ServiceNow solutions.

• Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience as a ServiceNow Developer, Tools Engineer, or in a similar role working across multiple ServiceNow modules.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong experience with system integrations, workflow automation, and process orchestration, particularly within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

• Solid hands-on experience with Web Services integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs.

• Good knowledge of directory and identity services, including Active Directory, Azure AD, and LDAP.

• Experience with scripting, programming, and automation technologies such as:

  • JavaScript

  • PowerShell

  • Python

  • Ansible

  • Terraform

  • XML

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Solid experience with ITSM and ITOM modules.

• Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules such as HRSD and CSM is highly valued.

• Experience or familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.

• Exposure to cloud container services such as AWS EKS and Azure AKS.

• Familiarity with software development tools, IDEs, version control systems, and code repositories.

• Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and IT Service Management best practices.

• Ability to create meaningful reports and translate technical data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant ServiceNow certifications.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in iterative and collaborative development environments.

• Experience with Workflow Data Fabric and advanced ServiceNow integration capabilities.

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Virtual Agent.

• Knowledge of French.
