As a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer – Virtualization & Security, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, committed to building robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure. You will play a vital role in managing and evolving the company's technical ecosystem, ensuring optimal system performance, security, and reliability. Your main responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Linux servers within a complex infrastructure environment
• Manage and optimize virtualized environments using Proxmox
• Configure and oversee networks, VPNs, and storage solutions for maximum resilience
• Implement and uphold infrastructure security best practices
• Develop and apply monitoring and logging systems to ensure system health
• Manage automated backups and disaster recovery plans to guarantee business continuity
• Automate infrastructure processes utilizing tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Select and optimize server hardware to ensure performance and scalability

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 6 years of experience working with Linux systems (Red Hat family, Debian, Ubuntu)
• Strong experience with virtualization technology, especially Proxmox
• In-depth networking knowledge and understanding of infrastructure security practices
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, including Ansible and Terraform
• Solid problem-solving skills and a focus on operational stability
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications related to Linux or virtualization technologies
• Experience working in agile or dynamic environments

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English and Portuguese, both spoken and written
