Our first speaker, Rita Castro is a Software Engineer in Volkswagen Digital Solutions Tech Unit Software Development Center (SDC). Her presentation is entitled "Building the Right Product and Building it Right." and when asked for a brief description, Rita sent:»» Have you heard about Atomic Design? How about Extreme Programming and Test Driven Development? Maybe you have also heard about React. In this talk you will get some insight on leveraging the power of Atomic Design to build the right product and capitalize on Extreme Programming and Test Driven Development to build it right.
Our second speaker is Nathália Demetrio and she's a Data Science Professor. We will learn from her about Data, in her presentation entitled "Pillars of Data: An Integrated Overview of the Data Areas". Nathália also sent us a brief description of her presentation, to inspire us:
»» Data & Analytics is fundamentally multidisciplinary, making an integrated view of each of the many professionals involved in the D&A universe challenging. In this chat we will discuss a proposal for this integrated view, considering the main moments and objectives involved in a D&A workflow. With a focus on the importance and practical effects of each of the pillars presented, in detriment of mathematical formalizations and / or the possible technologies involved.
Here we will have as pillars: understanding and defining the problem; data acquisition, preparation and exploration; statistical modeling and machine learning; communication of results, reproducibility and operationalization of solutions, experimentation and measurement of effects, and business strategy and governance.
