We’re kicking off ProductTank Porto 2026 with a session that goes back to the fundamentals of product work.
In this first event of the year, we welcome Dave Hora to explore Structural Coupling — a core dynamic that sits at the heart of successful (and unsuccessful) products.
Product challenges often emerge when there’s a mismatch between what teams build internally and how people actually behave externally. In this talk, we’ll look at how products work best when these two sides are aligned — and what happens when they aren’t.
Using a simple biological metaphor, this session will offer a clear lens to reflect on:

- Why misalignment quietly creates friction and complexity
- A simple question that helps teams spot problems early — or get unstuck when they’re already there.
